Required Minimum Qualification for UPPSC Prelims Exam 2022:

  • Sub Registrar, Assistant Prosecuting Officer (Transport) – Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
  • District Basik Shiksha Adhikari / Associate DIOS and equivalent administrative posts, District Administrative Officer – Master Degree in Any Stream.
  • District Audit Officer (Revenue Audit) – Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce B.Com in Any Recognized University.
  • Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade-I) / (Grade-II) -Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Senior Lecturer, DIET – Master Degree with B.Ed.
  • Chemist – Master Degree M.Sc in Organic Chemistry with 3 Year Experience in the same field.
  • Officer on Special Duty Computer – Computer Engineering Degree, Or First Class Master Degree with PG Diploma in Computer with 1 Year Experience.
  • District Cane Officer, U.P. Agriculture Service Group “B” (Development Branch) – Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture.
  • Labour Enforcement Officer – Bachelor’s degree with Economics Or Sociology or commerce and Post Graduate Diploma Or Postgraduate Degree in Law / Labour relation / Labor welfare / Labor Law / Commerce / Sociology / Social work / Social welfare / Trade Management / Personnel Management.
  • Management Officer / Manager Estate Department – Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
  • Technical Assistant Geophysics – Master Degree with 50% Marks Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Geology or applied Geology (with Physics, Mathematics at the B.Sc. Level.
    Tax Assessment Officer – Bachelor Degree in Economics OR Commerce with 55% Marks.

Selection / Exam Procedure for UPPSC Prelims Exam 2022:

  • Written Test-Objective Type & Multiple choice. It will consist of two compulsory papers of which the answer sheet be on OMR sheets.
  • The papers shall be 200 marks each and of two hours durations. Both the papers shall be objective Type & multiple choice in which there shall be 150-100 questions Respectively. The timing of paper-I will be from 9.30 to 11.30 A.M. and paper II from 2.30 to 4.30 P.M.
  • Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.
  • It is mandatory for the Candidates to appear in both the papers of the Preliminary Examination for the purpose of evaluation.
  • The merit of the Candidates will be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Paper-I of the Preliminary Examination.
  • Physical Measurement-Physical Measurements will be applicable according to Service Rules/requisitions, in case of availability of posts e.g. Dy. Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector, Deputy Jailor, and District Youth Welfare and Pradeshik Vikash Dal Officer, etc. More Detail Read the Notification
  • COMPULSORY SUBJECTS :1. General Hindi 150 marks 2. Essay 150 marks 3. General Studies (First Paper) 200 marks 4. General Studies (Second Paper) 200 marks 5. General Studies (Third Paper) 200 marks 6. General Studies (Fourth Paper) 200 marks
  • Timing of examination paper of 3 hours i.e. 9.30 am to 12.30 pm & 2 pm to 5
  • A candidate shall be required to obtain such minimum marks in the compulsory paper of General Hindi, as may be determined by the Government or the Commission, as the case may be. There shall be Two sections in all the question papers of Optional subject and each section will include Four questions. Candidates are required to answer only Five questions while they must select a minimum of Two questions from each section.
