Required Minimum Qualification for RFCL Technician Recruitment 2022:

Technician (Mechanical) Grade-II:

I)Full time & regular Three Years Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act-1961 (Amendment
1973) OR,

II)The Candidates with HSC(Science) and direct admission to the second year/ 3rd Semester of Three Years Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering / Technology and successful completion of one-year training (BOAT) under the Apprentices Act1961 (Amendment 1973). The one-year training (BOAT)

III) Minimum Percentage 55% marks in last year (or Average/ Aggregate of last two semesters) of the Diploma Course (50% for SC/ST category candidates).

IV) Experience as of 01.03.2022: 2 years of work experience preferably in the Fertilizer or Chemical industry (Pesticides, Agrochemical, Chlor Alkali, Organic Chemical Manufacturing) having continuous / batch process and performing the job in Process / Production / Maintenance Deptt.


OR

a) 4 years (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years’ (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/ Technology under Sandwich pattern.

OR,b) The Candidates with HSC(Science) and direct admission to the second year/ 3rd Semester of 4 years (Eight Semesters) or 3½ years’ (Seven Semesters) full time & regular Diploma in (Mechanical/Allied branches of Mechanical) Engineering/ Technology under Sandwich pattern.

Technician (Instrumentation) Grade-II :

I)Full time & regular B.Sc.(Physics) Degree with Chemical as one of the subjects during any of the 3 years course of B.Sc. Degree and passing of The National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) examination. NCVT in the Instrument Mechanic (Chemical Plant) i.e. IM(CP) Trade 

II) Minimum Percentage The candidates should have secured a minimum of 55% marks in last year (or Average/Aggregate of last two semesters) of B.Sc.(Physics) Degree Course (50% for SC/ST category candidates). The NCVT in IM(CP) Trade is necessarily be completed after passing of B.Sc.(Physics) Degree.

IV) Experience as of 01.03.2022: 2 years of work experience preferably in the Fertilizer or Chemical industry (Pesticides, Agrochemical, Chlor Alkali, Organic Chemical Manufacturing) having continuous / batch process and performing the job in Process / Production / Maintenance Deptt.


OR

Selection / Exam Procedure forRFCL Technician Recruitment 2022:

  • Online Test- Computer-based online objective type test
  • Trade Test
  • Syllabus for Online Test: The online test will have two parts, Discipline related and Aptitude related. The duration of the test will be ninety (90) minutes. The total number of questions
    will be 100, each, out of which 50 questions would be from a mix of course curriculum of qualifying degree/diploma / relevant qualification of the relevant discipline of two marks each and 50 questions from General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Knowledge / Awareness of one mark each. There will be negative marking for the wrong answers. The level of the domain subject will be as applicable for each post.
  • Syllabus for Trade Test: The Trade Test will consist of Practical Job Knowledge and handling of Technical equipment, the allocation of marks will be 80 Marks and Safety
    awareness and Computer Knowledge the allocation of marks will be 20 marks. The total allocation of marks for the Trade Test will be 100 marks.
    The candidate has to secure a minimum of 60 marks (SC/ST candidates 55 marks) out of a total of 100 marks for the qualifying Trade Test.
  • Examination Place: The online test will be conducted at the centers in the cities of Mumbai and Nagpur.
  • Medium of Test-Marathi, Rajbhasha (Hindi), and English
